The MY BOB team is committed to respecting both people and the environment. Particular attention is given to the selection of raw materials used in the various creations. Wool felt is chosen over fur felt, and hat boxes are being replaced by reusable bags. The embroidered brooches incorporate recycled materials as well. Each piece tells a unique story, reimagining high-quality fabrics to reduce waste and uphold sustainability principles. This approach reflects both a mindset and a conscious business decision.

 

UP-CYCLE OF FEATHERS

Our feathers get a second chance as we up-cycle them after passing by farms serving the food industry. They are delicately selected and collected to offer the best quality in the best possible conditions. Join the upcycling journey for a brighter, more responsible fashion future.

 

 

 

RESPECT FOR ANIMALS

 

No feathers are used from protected or endangered birds but only from farmed animals. All our suppliers are required to adhere to the Washington Convention, a treaty which controls commercial trade on specific species.

Since 2021, we have chosen to stop using fur felt and exchange it with fine natural wool felt. This decision reflects our commitment to avoid exploiting or harming animals for their fur. With increasing global awareness and advocacy for animal welfare, the industry has been driven to produce wool felt of high quality.
